Colorado Wing Shooting
at The High Lonesome Ranch
Spend a day in the field with a good dog. Hunting is a great excuse. Shorter, cooler days, tall grass, and hundreds of acres of pristine upland coverts give a man and a dog some of what really matters.
The High Lonesome Ranch is a ruggedly scenic western slope Orvis experience with some of the finest dogs in North America. Hunt pheasant, chukar, and quail in tons of acres of pristine upland coverts with the award-winning Brookside Gun Dogs. The diversity of terrain can take you through tall wheat, sorghum, and rye fields. As the weather changes so do the habits of our quarry, and they move into creek bottoms, sage, and oak brush flats. The North Dry Fork Valley is comfortably traversed by hunters of all ages and offers incredible cover for the birds and dogs to do their work.
