Post Fire Land Regen for Goats

Last week we brought in a new crew to assist with the post-fire regeneration across the Ranch- goats! We are excited to partner with Jennifer Studt of Studt Ranch, who provides “biological weed control, fire prevention, and reclamation services” using her Spanish goats are herded on range for their whole lives. Goats are able to target areas impacted by the Pine Gulch Fire that have more difficult terrain or are further from water. We are excited to have these goats to bring fertility to the land, work seeds into the soil, and keep fire prone brush to a manageable level.
