Indoor and Outdoor
The High Lonesome Ranch is your go-to Western Colorado ranch venue. Our location in the vast landscape of the western slope is both beautiful and remote, but we’re close enough to attractions and activities to keep your guests entertained on their trip.
Outside Event Space
The High Lonesome Ranch spreads across multiple mountain ranges, valleys, and meadows. This gives you plenty of options to set up your outdoor gathering, workshop, activity, ceremony, or reception regardless of the size of your guest list or the number of your attendees.
Our headquarters features a large fire pit patio with stunning views of Mt. Logan. We offer a large grassy expanse with a level area for primitive RV or tent camping.
Inside Event Space
The indoor spaces on The Ranch include the Conference Room, Pavilion, and Dining Room at The Ranch Headquarters. Any of these are great for formal, professional, or casual events and gatherings. Any of them are easily blended for indoor / outdoor events providing more space and access to the beautiful outdoors of The Ranch.
The Conference Room
Large windows on three sides afford views of The High Lonesome Ranch, Mount Logan, the garden, and headquarters. Equipped for presentations and meetings for parties of up to 40 people, this room has a mounted TV with auxiliary cables and a speaker system.
The Pavilion
Sliding doors open on 3 sides of The Pavilion to blend the indoor space with the beautiful surrounding lawn and adjacent garden. Enjoy the fresh breezes as your guests wander in and out from lawn games to dancing or dinner. A projector screen lowers from one side with a built-in audio system for your presentations and workshops with plenty of space for row seating or tables. An attached catering kitchen gives you flexibility for serving meals to larger groups. This space seats up to 80 people.
The Dining Room
The Dining Room features a cozy seating area with a wood-burning fireplace and a great setting to catch up over cocktails or split off into smaller groups. Then step up to the attached dining area with beautiful large wooden tables perfect for spreading out your work or hosting intimate dinners. This space is perfect for 20-25 guests.
